Recent Acquisitions By CDL

CDL recently acquired 3 large sites, namely Goldenhill Condominium, Kim Lin Mansion and Newton Point for $175.8 million, $251 million and $78 million respectively.

Goldenhill Condominium is the largest freehold site ever put up for collective sale in Singapore. The 261,991 square feet site is located at the junction of Lorong Chuan and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, next to New Tech Park. It is within a primarily residential locality, close to the conveniences available at the Serangoon Town Centre. The site is zoned for a 20-storey residential development with a plot ratio of 2.1 under the current Master Plan. It is earmarked for development into a high-rise condominium development.

The coveted Kim Lin Mansion site, measuring 125,508-square feet, is located along Grange Road, in prestigious District 9. It has a plot ratio of 2.1 and can be developed up to 20 storeys with a potential for 160 luxurious apartments - each averaging 1,500 square feet.

The site is slated for an upmarket development and is expected to be highly sought-after given its prime location close to Orchard Road, Singapore's premier shopping and entertainment hub. It is just a five-minute walk to the Orchard Road MRT Station.

Strengthening CDL's hold in the prime District 11 locality, the 45,974-square feet freehold Newton Point site is located on a hilltop near Newton MRT station. The Newton Point plot is zoned for residential development with a maximum gross plot ratio of 2.8 under the current Master Plan. It can be re-developed up to 30 storeys, enough for a condominium project with approximately 85 units, each averaging 1,400-square feet.
