Appointed a Director of CDL since 29 March 1995, Mr Chee was last re-appointed a Director on 24 April 2008 pursuant to Section 153(6) of the Companies Act, Chapter 50. He is also the Chairman of the Audit, Nominating, Remuneration and Scheme Committees of CDL. Mr Chee had previously held the position of Auditor General for more than 20 years and had served on the board of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Mr Chee holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Geography from University of Malaya.
